Rebuild Los Angeles

Postponement Notice

Postponement Notice: AEC Hackathon: Rebuild Los Angeles

After much consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the AEC Hackathon: Rebuild LA due to the ongoing civil unrest across the city. With the uncertainty around safety and logistics, we felt it was best to wait until we can host the event in a space that feels safe, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone involved: attendees, speakers, partners, and sponsors.

For those who registered or supported the event:
We’re reaching out directly with details about refunds and next steps.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and belief in this mission.
This isn’t a cancellation, just a pause. We remain committed to the work of rebuilding and will share updates as soon as we can responsibly move forward. If you’re interested in being part of future Rebuild LA efforts, feel free to reach out and stay tuned.

The AEC Hackathon Rebuild Los Angeles edition brings together built environment professionals, technologists, and others to develop innovative solutions and help those effected by the recent fires.

This special edition unites Los Angeles locals with the global AEC Hackathon community and construction experts from Europe to create cost-effective, sustainable, and resilient rebuilding strategies. Over one weekend, participants collaborate on real-world challenges to deliver impactful solutions that can be rapidly deployed.

By harnessing technology, open-source innovation, and community-driven problem-solving, this hackathon is a step toward rebuilding stronger and smarter. Join us in shaping the future of disaster recovery.
